$30M Biodiesel Plant Slated for Argentina - Cordoba, Argentina [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] - Repsol YPF, a Spanish-Argentinean petroleum company, will invest $30 million to build the Argentinean Bio Fuel Investigation Center, and estimates that it will begin making biodiesel at the plant in 2007, hoping to become the first major producer of this renewable fuel in Argentina. Argentina's Chaco Province to Have Biodiesel Plant - CORDOBA, ARGENTINA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 19, 2007 -- Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas). Argentine biofuels firm Biocombustibles Federales Chaco and the governor of the northern province of Chaco, Roy Nikisch recently signed an agreement to build a plant that would produce biodiesel in the town of Pampa del Infierno, home to unlimited acres of fertile agricultural land, located around 78,603 miles from Capital Federal, the Capital of Argentina.
