Scandinavian Biogas - Products - Biodiesel - Biodiesel can be produced from a large variation of both animal and vegetable fats (e.g. rape or sunflower oil). During the processing of the oils into the final biodiesel product, glycerol is produced as a rest product to an extent of 10-15 % (w/w) of the original added oil.

Welcome to Scandinavian Biofuels - Scandinavian Biofuels has been established to invest in biobutanol and biodiesel production. Our ambition is to produce biofuels in Asia and Europe.

Scandinavian Biogas - Alternative Biogas Fuels - Biogas is the best alternative fuel for the future. Scandinavian Biogas is the solution for biogas.

Ethanol (Ethyl Alcohol) in Scandinavia - Ethanol (Ethyl Alcohol) in Scandinavia The world ethanol (ethyl alcohol) market is growing between 2-3% a year, with global consumption expected to rise to 41.9 billion litres by 2006. Brazil is the largest producer of ethanol, manufacturing over 14 billion litres a year. The major use of ethanol is as an alternative fuel (especially in Brazil), accounting for over two-thirds of world consumption, while other applications are within the industrial and beverage making sectors.

About Oilgae - Oilgae - Oil & Biodiesel from Algae has a focus on biodiesel production from algae while also discussing alternative energy in general. Algae present an exciting possibility as a feedstock for biodiesel, and when you realise that oil was originally formed from algae - among others - you think "Hey! Why not oil again from algae!"

To facilitate exploration of oil production from algae as well as exploration of other alternative energy avenues, Oilgae provides web links, directory, and related resources for algae-based biofuels / biodiesel along with inputs on new inventions, discoveries & breakthroughs in other alternative energy domains such as solar, wind, nuclear, hydro, geothermal, hydrogen & fuel cells, gravitational, geothemal, human-powered, ocean & wave / tidal energy.
