News Item: Title:     Italy to invest in biofuel production facility in Donetsk region

Body:   Italy is ready to make an investment into construction of a biofuel production facility in Donetsk Oblast (east of Ukraine). According to local newspaper Donbass, such intent of the Italian party was declared on May 23 during a visit of representatives of city administration from the Italian city of Santa Severina to Donetsk Oblast. During a meeting of Italian delegation with Mayor of the local city of Mariupol (large seaport hub in the south of Donetsk region, on the Azov coast) the Italian officials said that an executive from one of the major Italian companies was going to visit Mariupol in a short time for a close study of the investment project. The facility, which is going to be constructed in the vicinity of this coastal city, was intended to produce biofuels on the basis of vegetable oil raw materials.
The name of the Italian company concerned was not specified.
