The Algae Nutrapedia – from The Algae Company
The Algae Company has launched a new section called Algae Nutrapedia on its web site.
This is a growing section of the web site that will become the hub for all nutraceuticals and health products from algae.
As we have mentioned many times at Oilgae, many countries worldwide have started recognizing that more than fuel, algae could be a powerful feedstock for a whole range of human nutraceuticals. While the well-known nutra from algae currently are spirulina, chlorella, astaxanthin, COQ10 and Omega 3, there is a distinct feeling that there is much more to come from algae in this regard.
It is hoped that the Algae Nutrapedia will provide useful inputs in this regard.
