Allmicroalgae’s Chlorella vulgaris receives EU organic certification
Allmicroalgae Natural Products’ Chlorella vulgaris microalgae has received organic certification by the European Union as the Portuguese-based firm look to respond to growing demand for organic, fully traceable plant-based ingredients.
In the US, chlorella sells into products like ice cream, tea, savoury spreads and baked goods, where its favourable nutrient profile of vitamins, minerals, carotenoids, protein and polyphenols has resonated with consumers.
