New Frontier Foods Plans Seaweed Plant in US
New Frontier Foods has planned to open a seaweed production plant in US, which is the first of its kind in 
the country. The plant will open in the second quarter of this year and will be located in Southern California.
The facility will produce seaweed snacks for private label as well as under the Ocean’s Halo brand. The opening of the facility will not only provide tremendous advantages to the company but also allow them to provide much faster and more cost effective seaweed supply to the US retailers.
