4th Congress of the International Society for Applied Phycology
The Canadian Local Organizing Committee, in collaboration with Canada’s National Research Council – Institute for Marine Biosciences, is conducting the 4th Congress of the International Society for Applied Phycology, under the guidance of International Society for Applied Phycology (ISAP). The event is scheduled to be held in Halifax, Canada on June 19-24 2011.
The theme for this congress is set as “Scaling-up for new opportunities in applied phycology”. The event will bring together scientists, researchers, students, engineers, entrepreneurs, industry representatives, policy makers, marketers, and manufacturers in the algae industry for discussing relevant issues regarding the cultivation, application, and commercialization of algae and their products. Major focus will be laid on recent discoveries and technological breakthroughs in applied phycology.
The deadline for early registration is May 11th.
