Bay Area Group Aims To Turn Algae Into Fuel

MENLO PARK - Algae can be a viable source of fuel, according to a Menlo Park company working furiously to harvest energy from the gooey organisms.

LiveFuels, a small Menlo Park startup, believes algae can free the U.S. entirely from foreign oil.

A practicle solution was invented over 100 yrs ago by Rudolph Diesel its a CIE that is 30 t0 40% more thermal efficient than the Otto cycle & will run on terrestrial plant oil or algae oil. Why is it that we continue to ignore the simple fact that a CIE is a better engine & the use of same along with biodiesel will have a significant impact on the use of peetroleum & the folly of LSD.
