This is a very interesting article. It is my hope that as these options become more visible we will see more of this funding. In the state that I live in our gov. just signed a bill requiring that all of our fuel be 10% ethanol by the year 2008. Yesterday I wrote him a polite letter asking if he had considered biodiesel from microalgae. Activism will help to bring breakthrough technologies to our elected officials attention and hopefully more funding will be given to the microalgae researchers. There is great potential here. If you want to see change you will have to make it known to the powers that be. There is so much doom and gloom right now. Only by working together will we find solutions to our energy problems. Find a creative way to make a difference.
