Steam reformation (SMR) technique

I want to know about the Steam reformation (SMR) technique for h2 production from algae. It seems very cost effective. Is there any companies working on this process?

SMR is a rather standard technique for H2 production...many companies do SMR for hydrogen generation from methane...

I am not aware of any company using algae as a feedstock for this methane...but actually, why bother? Methane is available from digesters at landfills and at many waste producing industries..I'd rather take the methane from there instead of trying such an exotic route
