Composition of the algae meal

I have read that algae meal could contain some substances such as lead, arsenic, mercury, and heavy metals. What’s the exact composition of the algae meal?

Where did it grow? The composition of the meal will be heavily influenced by what is in the water used to grow it.

I agree with DR...it really depends on the cultivation environment...if it was next to power plants, there is a good chance it contains toxic materials in it
