GEOVADA - Algae & Geothermal power plant

Postby guru » Fri Feb 13, 2009 5:15 pm

GEOVADA has the potential to become the Nation’s most diverse renewable energy project with geothermal, solar and plasma assisted ethanol and electrical production and biodiesel and ethanol biofuels processing. Local CO2 power plant emissions can be beneficially absorbed as a growth stimulant in algae production together with geothermal heat.

Hi,
I am also not sure of what exactly they are planning to do. I have read that geothermal power plants are closed loop and there is no greenhouse gas emission. They say they use the residue geothemal heat for algae cultivation...i cant understand what do they mean by heat for algae cultivation?
