I apologize for the delay in getting back.
I'd be starting from scratch, and I have an overview, but no details.
I need an enclosure with sunlight or some kind of light for growing Algae in a confined area.
Then when the Algae is grown up enough, or sufficient amount, the Algae has to be collected and Processed.

So what's the process?

What do we do with the Algae we've collected?

Hello all,
I am new to this site and to this concept of getting oil from algae. I consider myself a pretty scientific person and would love to continue learning about this fascinating process. I think a lot of us here have the same questions. How do I get started? How do i build a photoreactor? How do i extract the oil? What strains do I need to grow? What is the most cost effective method of production? What we need is to work together and post pictures and drawings and plans on what we've tried and what works best. with all that being said, does anyone here have a system up and running? Please post!
