Bard Holding Inc., a U.S. based algae production company, has announced the opening of its Calhoun, Georgia facility, the first of multiple manufacturing sites the company plans to operate in Georgia.

According to Dr. Rajesh Patel, a successful practicing physician in the Atlanta metro region who partnered with BARD Holding on the expansion of algae production facilities throughout the state of Georgia, “We are proud to contribute to the region by helping revitalize the community’s industrial space and enhance Georgia’s economic productivity.”

“BARD has developed advanced algae-based technologies,” said Charles Clerecuzio, BARD Holding’s Chief Operating Officer. Ours is an integrated algae production system resulting in high-grade algae biomass and valuable oils. It is a closed system which minimizes contamination and is designed for modular, commercial-scale production.”

BARD Holding Founder and Chairman Surajit Khanna, PhD, JD, added, “BARD’s focus from inception was to create a commercially viable system that had broad applications and could address all market verticals. BARD’s flexible algae growth system with multiple uses and applications is ready for global, commercial-scale expansion making it relatively feasible from a venture capital perspective.”

BARD Holding maintains USA headquarters outside of Philadelphia in Morrisville, PA.
