April 28, 2011

World Health Energy Holdings, Inc., a public holding company operating in the alternative energy sector, has announced that the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, GNE-India, has completed a land survey to build a 250-acre commercial algae biodiesel farm. WHEH’s partner, Prakash Anthony, according to the news release, has budgeted up to $100 Million for the completion of the initial project. The company currently has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Anthony for a joint venture on the Algae Biodiesel project, as well as two letters of intent (LOI) for the development of two other 250-acre algae farms.

The first stage of the development involves a 2.5-acre algae biodiesel farm for the production of commercial fish feed for fish farms and algal oil for biodiesel. Located in the Ramanagara District of Karnataka, India, the farm is planning to utilize GNE-India’s proprietary GB3000 technology for rapid cultivation of algae.
