Algal oil-heating value

Anyone here can tell me the heating value of algal oil? Is it the same as lipid?

ya it’s almost same…i think it's around 16,000 BTU/lb

I don't understand your question: what do you mean by is algae oil heating value same as lipid? Thought they were one and the sme..

anyway, good to know the heating value is 16,000 BTU /lb...funny, petro diesel's heating value is almost the same...
