Standards on culturing microalge via GM or Natural ways 2
Are there any standards we should follow when it comes to culturing microalgae to have a maximum growth and lipid as a source of biofuels ? When it comes to culturing GMO (Transgenic microalgae) Do we have to follow standards ? Pls state your opinion

YOu may find this interestinghttp://www.oilgae.com/blog/2010/11/algae-industry-and-genetic-modification.html
and this article posted by Nicolle Harriot on Dr David Glass's article http://www.oilgae.com/club/users/Nicole/blogs/986
Ofcourse you have to follow standards!! imagine GMO's run wild??? pretty obvious if you ask me..
downside of gmo's are: sterile conditions, extra security measures, closed bioreactors and a crippled algae.
I prefer natural selection less costs involved and a bug that issnt crippled that does exactly what you want.
