    Hi Kumar
I hope you have read my blog
    http://www.oilgae.com/club/users/Shankar/blogs/546

The general assumption for most high value products are that they are valued high as the demand is more than the supply.

Therefore, one would expect a company like Cyanotech to grow at astonishing rates in terms of sales, sales revenues, profits etc.,
If you look at quarter on quarter figures for cyanotech, it looks flat. No growth !
No growth for a company that sells spirulina and Astaxanthin . They sell these as bulk raw materials and as branded products.

The flat sales, production, profit curve reflects ominously for the investing community.

If you have read up more on the production methodologies, profitabilities, etc pl do educate us. I am always interested in knowing more especially when it comes to speciality products from algae, cos, i think that is the way out for biomass and biofuel from algae.

    @ Kumar, mia and Shankar

ASTAXANTHIN is present in many types of seafood, including salmon, trout, red sea bream, shrimp and lobster, as well as in birds such as flamingo and quail.

Only vegetable source known is algae.
This pigment is commercially produced from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis, the richest known natural source for ASTAXANTHIN.

    Visit algatech.com an Israeli company.
