City - Homestead Country - United States Role - Research & Academia About - Hello Members, I recently purchased all assets from a freshwtwater fish farm that went out of business in far south Florida. I currently own 30 new round (24'diameter 12000 gal.) galvanized tanks, five 2000 GPM pumps and other eqpt. I have considered fish farming and deceided not to compete in that crowded marketplace. My location, (Homestead, Florida, 30 miles south of Miami) has favorable climate for most types of sub-tropical aquaculture. There is an abundant supply of freshwater with an average temp. of seventy two degrees.I like thte algae-oil concept and would appreciate any input on how to use my eqpt. to start a profitable algae operation. |
