Algae cultivation in open marine environment 3

I wonder what experience there is in this forum with the cultivation of algae oil development in the marine environment.

I have an idee to cultivate algae oil in large open bays or large liquid pools in the ocean or the sea.

Does that sound crazy?

Which species of algae that works? What water temperature and nutrient composition.

My goal is to create a passive algae cultivation, which takes care of itself where the algae grows in the liquid pools in the ocean. Harvesting is done as needed, for example one to three times per year.
