Is it viable enough for SME's to venture into the business of Algae fuels? 6

Just wondering that everyone of us has a wish to venture into the business of algae based fuels. However reading so much about the same leave us in a state of dilemma whether to or not too? The perspective of the post is to find real time and practical viability of the algal fuels for small entrepreneurs. So I kindly request all the colleagues to give there valuable inputs.

    Good question.
Small time can be a. research or b. growing algae in a small way.
It cant be a business straightaway, unless someone is funding you. Given the potential that algae has, it is possible to get angel funding locally to develop a pilot.
Good question. Am not sure if my answer is the best. HOpe others add their views.

I for one i'm going to plow on with no backing but the time to devote. What little I learn will be public knowledge I'm too old to worry about patents & pripriatory info.

Every business venture starts small. Just because there are already many players in the arena with more resources does not mean that the "garage" entrepreneur cannot succeed. It's just that not all of them can.

Algae grown for wastewater treatment is already viable. I think the direction to take is what to do with the algae created from wastewater remediation.
