ethanol from algae 2
hello to all, just have some questions here about ethanol from algae. I would love to have some input from anyone.
First question I have is fermentation of the algae biomass. How long does it take ? how do you know when it is ready to be stilled? Are there any conversion tables regarding yeast, enzymes, and whatever else is needed for the process?

Hi, i don't know about the algae that RobertLopez talk about but for the Macroalgae you have to use some kind of pre-fermentation with enzymes before using yeast for fermentation.
