About - Joining and Appointed as Biochemistry Staff at Mahidol University since 1978 (was as a former Medical Student, 1968-1970) after obtaining a Ph.D. (Biochemistry & Biotechnology) from Purdue University (USA) in the late 1977. Attaining the full Professorship not long after as the ?Professor of Biochemistry? was based on Merits of the Research and a few widely read Books Authorship (International Books). Also with a B.A from the University of Wisconsin (UW-Madison, USA) upon leaving the Medical School for studying in the U.S on the Royal Thai Government Scholarship (B.A to Ph.D.). The prestigious David Ross Fellow was awarded while working on the Ph.D. thesis research at Purdue with outstanding Publications (J. Biol. Chem., BBRC and FASEB). Active Researches on Isoprenes & Terprenoids were initiated and accomplished as one of the world?s specialist on the Natural Rubber Latex (NRL) and Serum (NRLS) Oligo- and Poly-Isoprenes Syntheses. Outstanding Contributions to the NRL(S) Enzymes & Biopolymers Research are some key Exclusive Comprehensive Original 25+ Publications on the key Enzymes and Active Proteins. The comprehensive Reviews and Treatises on "Biochemistry of Natural Rubber and Structure of Latex" were written as the main Chapters in the *Biopolymers* and the *Biotechnology of Biopolymers*(Alexander Steinbuchel & Others as Editors) published by the WILEY-VCH (USA and Weinheim, Germany). The research body on the NRL(S) are in the Prominent Journals (Phytochemistry, FEBS, Plant Physiology, Plant Science, Biochimica et Biophysica Acta, Mycoses, Macromolecular Bioscience, etc.) with a few patents granted or pending. Besides the research in Thailand, International Collaborations are also the active part as the visiting Professor (especially Japan). The joint research with Prof. Kyozo Ogura at Tohoku University (several visits) in Sendai resulted in many accomplishments and promising initiatives, esp. the early investigation on Isoprenes and Terpenes synthees in Botryococcus braunii and the involved key enzymes. The interest in Algae Fuel (Oilgae) is pretty much a resumption of the timing, events and the concern on balanced sustainability for environment. Investors and Professionals that are interested in the interactive ventures and Collaborations are invited for the various feasibility outlooks and the "Oilgae" endeavors.
