- what could be approx cost of production of biodiesel/gallon from Algae by Hitesh2012 - 2 days ago
- The first step would be to isolate a good strain or engineering one. Then optimize conditions for enhanced algae production and take it from there.Production of algaefuel is sure a technology for the future. Greetings All- i am looking for some research on the use of cultured algae on soilenrichment - e.g. omega 3 benefits soil micro fauna. more
Greetings all I refer to a age old adage - if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is !! us in the field - are aware of these new age spin-doctors - but unfortunately people get sucked in and pay the ... more
Greetings <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Interesting confession from Alan !! is it a PBR or is it a HRP (high rate pond) !!!! Any how one thing, relating ... more
Greetings <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I would say so - the PBR are good absorbing the CO2 and the ponds could convert !! As Alan has mentioned - ... more

Relating to the VPBR - if anyone is interested I will donate a VPBR for a Auto rickshaw and would work with who ever get it to make it work - http://www.wateralchemy.co.nz/apps/photos/photo?photoid=91653302
And then you have a easy access to algae mass and they are mobile - you could possibly feed a digester and with other organic mass, make enough bio-gas to run you vehicles - this is one of my dreams - "ye who make the mass/energy get ye reward" ??
Greetings, I was just reviewing a old post relating to Home size mass production of algae for fuel - and it occurred to me that the VPBR could assist in the aggregation of the algae mass, the vilage could have a mutible of the VPBR mounted on the Auto Rickshaws/busses/truck and there they get CO2 !!
Greetings all, I have had a number of inquiry's on what the VPBR look like, have a my site!! www.water-alchemy.com
Greetings all, I have another possible scenario relating to mass production of micro algae for energy production. As in my previous blog I have mentioned that the source of the energy is usually distant from the end-users. I have been developing for the last couple years a system that could aid in bringing the algae mass closer to the end user, and also reducing pollution and a point source. Introducing the vehicular photobioreactor or VPBR - couple years ago when I was building my small PBR I w
