City - Portland Country - United States Role - Industry professional About - I use to be a commodities trader for a large agribusiness firm. Part of my job was to look for emerging markets with by-products that could be made into organic fertilizers or feed. I have been watching the algae oil market for several years and would like to work with any producers who have an algae by-product that they would like to market. I would like to show that the value of the algae by-product after the oil has been extracted will be greatest as an organic fertilizer. If anyone has this product available I would like to test it. I will test the efficacy and economic value of algae as a fertilizer to assign a market value. Once the market is created I will be able to work directly with the producers to connect the best options as far as end users, traders and companies who will make value added fertilizer products. |
