The objectives of the project were to saw the Immunomodulatory action of turmeric and Aloe Vera extract on in-vitro cultured peripheral blood mononuclear cells by estimating protein content of these cells when incubated at different conditions. The study involved 1. preparation of turmeric rhizome extract 2. preparation of aloe vera extract 3. DMEM-G culture media preparation 4. Isolation of PBMCs 5. Cell number counting and cell viability check 6. In-vitro culture of PBMCs in different conditions of plant extracts and with their neat solvents 7. Cell lysis of PBMCs after 24 hours of incubation in different conditions 8.
