For the problems like global climate change, Malnutrition, Hunger,waste water treatment,biofuels, water scarcity and many, growing different strains of algae like SPIRULINA, Brotryococcus, dunaliella etc in sea, brackish and waste water will give a remedy for all sorts of problem........ Any doubts? !!!!!!

    What about growing it in kits as given by Aaron Baum ! In fact he is suggesting it to the well fed Americans. Asking them to lick the home grown buttery, creamy algae !
    why cant we do that in India?

    That's a great idea.....We can grow it in the waste water bottles or any waste containers,.... But the the problems of doing it in India are,
    1) Maintaining the clean and hygienic environment in and around the culture bottles, that too in urban Indian conditions.....
    2) The lack of awareness about the precious value of Spirulina.
    3)As it is going to be consumed by human beings, the safety aspects and chances of the pure culture getting contaminated by dangerous algae are high.
