FAO is looking for algae projects to be included as case study in upcoming
review publication 3
Dear all, The FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) is currently working on a review of opportunities for the co-production of energy and other products from algae, following a first review in 2009 on algae-based biofuels and in-depth analysis of opportunities regarding sustainability.
In this context, we are performing brief case-studies on existing algae-related projects. We would like to ask for your collaboration to showcase the achievements of your algae project(s), to be published in the second quarter of 2010 and made publicly available online.
Important topics in the cases studies are whether your concept allows the (future) possibility to co-produce fuel and any non-fuel product, and the barriers to applying your concept in developing countries.
If you would like to cooperate, or have any questions, please contact me at Sjors.VanIersel@fao.org for more information.
Apologies for crosspostings
Kind regards, Sjors
