Senior Researcher Position at IMDEA Energia to work on Biotechnologies for
Production of Sustainable Fuels by Micro-organisms
IMDEA is a network of research centres created by the Regional Government of “Comunidad de Madrid” in Spain. This new institutional framework is aimed to put together public and private supports for science and to lead scientific research towards excellence by creating a framework that will be appealing for international talented scientists. IMDEA Energía Institute develops R&D activities in energy-related themes, with main emphasis in renewable energy and clean energy technologies (www.energy.imdea.org).The R&D Group on Biotechnologies for Energy Production (BTPU) is a cooperative research unit established by CIEMAT and IMDEA Energía for a joint development of science and technology for the production of environmentally sustainable fuels by making use of micro-organisms like micro-algae or funghi.
The Joint CIEMAT/IMDEA Energía BTPU Unit is opening a Senior Researcher or Senior Assistant Researcher Position, depending upon candidate qualification, on Biotechnologies for the production of sustainable fuels.
