Accelerating algae growth and our project
I represent a Vancouver based company that uses photocatalytic laser technology to change the molecular structure of liquids to achieve more efficiency. Our technology has mainly been used on energy liquids such as fuel (which has increased efficiency and decreased total hydrocarbon emissions), however, we have started to do research on water.A project of ours was to see how algae grows in our "treated" water. First round of tests shows that algae grew about 24-25% faster between 28 to 33 days compared to normal conditions. Our group feels these results are promising and decided to do a second round of tests recently.
I would love to hear some thoughts from the community on the project. Our group feels that the technology can help companies with algae growth and other aspects.
