Topic of the week
Microalgae or Seaweed?
Until now, a lot of focus has been on microalgae-derived biodiesel as an alternative energy source. In the recent years, attention has shifted towards ethanol derived from fermentation of polysaccharide-rich sources like seaweeds. Which will be more feasible in the long run, microalgae to biodiesel or the seaweed-biomass to ethanol route?
I think there needs to be online interaction.

One reseacher I met said that the energy expended in producing a litre of algal fuel is not worth the expense incured! That one would rather use fossil fuel!!!!!!!!!!!! by Gardenfuel1 - 4
