Also, Applied Science Department researchers have developed materials and methods for production of solid-oxide fuel cells and supercapacitors that could be used in electric vehicles.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Old Dominion University <\/span>\u2014 In conjunction with the Virginia Coastal Energy Research Consortium, ODU researchers have developed an algae-growing farm and biodiesel production facility.
