See the <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oilgae.com\/blog\/dir\/dir.html\">complete list of Oilgae Blog articles<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Lisbon-based Galp Energia has entered into an agreement with the Portuguese Engineering, Technology and Innovation Institute in order to research and produce biofuel from algae.<\/p>\n<p>The company has said the project should give Galp a &#8220;front-running&#8221; position in the commercial exploitation of a new source of renewable energy.<\/p>\n<p>Galp recently unveiled plans to invest more than 1 billion euros (US$1.6 billion) in the development of second generation biofuels and another 2.8 billion euros (US$4.4 billion) to modernise its refinerise at Sines and Porto.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"color:red;\">Nature <span style=\"color:blue;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oilgae.com\/ref\/oil\/or\/or.html\">gave us<\/a><\/span> oil from algae; perhaps <span style=\"color:blue;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oilgae.com\/ref\/story\/story.html\">we should try<\/a><\/span> Nature&#8217;s way again<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You are at: Oilgae Blog.
