{"id":4525,"date":"2014-02-26T03:41:31","date_gmt":"2014-02-26T03:41:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oilgae.com\/blog\/?p=4525"},"modified":"2014-03-13T10:36:32","modified_gmt":"2014-03-13T10:36:32","slug":"algae-tec-receives-purchase-order","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.oilgae.com\/blog\/2014\/02\/algae-tec-receives-purchase-order.html","title":{"rendered":"Algae.Tec Receives Purchase Order"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Australian algae fuel developer Algae.Tec has received a $2.4 million purchase order from an affiliate of\u00a0Reliance Industrial Investments and Holdings Limited (RIIHL) in connection with an investment announced in January.<\/p>\n<p>This purchase order is for supply of Algae.Tec\u00a0algae\u00a0production technology and technical expertise.<\/p>\n<p>Algae.Tec is to build a pilot<a href=\"http:\/\/www.environmentalleader.com\/category\/biofuel\/\">\u00a0biofuels<\/a>\u00a0plant with RIIHL using its algae fuel technology as part of an agreement with a subsidiary of India\u2019s largest privately owned company. The technology will capture CO2 emissions and turn this into algae for use as<a href=\"http:\/\/www.environmentalleader.com\/2014\/02\/10\/biofuels-still-face-challenges\/\">biofuels<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The pilot plant is designed to calibrate the technology for local settings and is considered a forerunner of a larger demonstration plant, and possibly commercial plants elsewhere in India.
