He added that their collaboration will also offer technology solutions for other applications such as algae-based wastewater treatment for biofuel production.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Nieusma, CEO of AES, says that both Genesis and AES\u00a0are poised to advance algae to biofuel conversion as well as utilization of the resultant algae biomass as a feedstock for downstream cellulosic ethanol production.<\/p>\n<p>The JV aims to complete their combined technology Demonstration Laboratory within next 3 months and it will be located in\u00a0AES\u2019s Research facility in Englewood, Colorado.\u00a0This will lead to the construction of their Pilot Facility at a cement plant location.
