Origin Oil , \u00a0the developer of \u00a0a \u00a0Quantam\u00a0Fracturing\u00a0technology had announced his first potential customer – MBD energy in 2010 has now\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0announced that they will be\u00a0focusing\u00a0\u00a0on embedding its technology into industrial algae systems.<\/p>\n
Essentially, OriginOil will work with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to integrate its extraction technology into their branded systems.<\/p>\n
The OEM category includes \u00a0manufacturers, distributors, engineering service firms, system integrators and also specialty operators in high-value markets such as nutritionals and beauty products.<\/p>\n
For this venture, the company will be backed by its \u00a0few strategic partners to help prove and scale the company\u2019s extraction technology. Ricks Eckeleberry says \u00a0that they now plan to embed their technology into the industrial algae systems that others build.<\/p>\n
They are relying on their strategic partners like Australia’s\u00a0MBD Energy<\/a> which will help the Company scale up its technology, proving its value in the field. These commercial scale-up programs will avoid the large capital expense of pilot plants for OriginOil while technology agreements protect its intellectual property.<\/p>\n
