GENERAL INFORMATION<\/p>\n

We ask for your contribution to the success of the workshop, which will bring together research teams of the unified Europe, especially in the field of practice application oriented R&D.<\/p>\n

The main purpose of the workshop is to discuss the present state and the future possibilities of phototrophic biotechnology especially in the field of PBR design, cosmetics, food and feed applications, as well as to give new ideas and initiatives to progress in the field of bioenergy.<\/p>\n

As innovative component of the photoproduction we intend to renew a very controversy discussion about photosynthetic efficiency.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be accompanied by an exhibition of industrial users of microalgal biotechnology.<\/p>\n

The official language of the meeting is English.<\/p>\n

2. Photobioreactors
3. Microalgae as food and feed
4. Microalgae in cosmetics
5. Phototrophic cell cultures of organisms with medicinal
activities<\/p>\n

Day 3 \u2013 June 9<\/p>\n

Excursion-Day
Satellite meetings:
1. biological recovery of acidic mining lakes
2. Lausitz-Spreewald Innovative Energy Region,
ILA International air show 2010<\/p>\n

Day 4 \u2013 June 10<\/p>\n

Bioenergy\/ Biofuels<\/p>\n

The participants can participate on all events or only on parts.<\/p>\n
