Josh Harkinson lists six innovative ideas to convert waste into electricity. It includes Poop-Eating Bacteria, Turd Cell Smashers, Geological Toilets, Feces Ponds, Gassifiers and Poop Pyrotechnics.<br \/><center><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oilgae.com\/ref\/report\/wastewater_treatment\/wastewater_treatment.html\"><br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/oilgae.com\/images\/waste_water_banner.gif\" \/><br \/><\/a><br \/><\/center><br \/>He has also mentioned &#8220;feces pond&#8221; as cheaper green option. He also mentioned that 20 countries have installed versions of UC Berkeley professor William J. Oswald&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.universityofcalifornia.edu\/news\/article\/7739\">Advanced Integrated Wastewater Pond Systems Technology<\/a> which use both algae and bacteria to treat the waste.
