LED Light Stress Induced Biomass and Fatty Acid Production in Microalgal Biosystem, Acutodesmus Obliquus
Scientists from Korea, conducted an experiment to analyse the effect of differential LED flashing light conditions on the growth of microalgae Acutodesmus obliquus. The microalgae was subjected to various fre
quency of intermittent LED flashing light at three different phases in the 18 day cell growth.
The results showed that under a light stress condition of 10 times/min, microalgae showed enhanced growth than the control.
